Amazing food, but overall unpleasant customer experience due to unexplained delays and awful communication. The delivery app (glovo) stated that the order would arrive in 50-70 minutes, yet it took much longer (90 minutes), the interval kept getting delayed repeatedly with no explanation and nobody was answering the phone. I had to consider the possibility that it might be a scam, given that I had already paid online in full, yet the food wasn’t arriving and there was no answer. I was calling and messaging their official telephone number, which is both in the Glovo app, on the restaurant’s official website and on Google Maps. Nobody was answering and the WhatsApp messages were neither seen nor answered. As I was contemplating how to report fraud to Glovo and whether I might need to contact the police, the intercom finally rang. The delivery person simply shrugged serenely when told about the issue. I later got a call from a member of staff, from the number nobody had been answering. The explanation: traffic. No actual apology, no awareness of how distressing the situation had been, no initiative ask for any feedback on how to improve the situation. As a customer, it’s not my job to spoon feed them improvement ideas, yet I decided to be generous with some practical ideas. I suggested they 1) answer their phone and 2) speak to their delivery app to amend their estimated time of arrival (ETA) to a more realistic time frame, to avoid such unpleasant situations in the future. He said he would speak to his manager and ask him to speak to Glovo, yet he failed to ask for any of the information that would have been necessary for such a (hypothetical) conversation. He never even asked how long the actual delivery time had been (90 min), what the initial ETA had been (50-70 min), nor what the distance was to my house (10 km). All this would have been crucial information for a discussion with his manager. He didn’t ask about any of it, which indicates zero intention of pursuing the issue any further. I got the impression that nothing will even be attempted. Future customers will probably go through the same thing. The food itself is delicious. Tabbouleh, halloumi salad, summer salad, the restaurant specific Mode salad - all great, fresh, tasty. Even the salmon in the salad was spot on. Mashed peas, mashed beans, turkey & broccoli, schnitzel & baked potatoes, fish & chips, bacon and vegetable omelette - all good. Caramelised chicken grilled chicken - not really caramelised in any meaningful way, just grilled and drowned in barbecue sauce; a bit of a misnomer, yet still tasty. The chicken wings are advertised as being in barbecue sauce, which simply wasn’t the case; instead they were breaded and also spicy to I a degree I found almost excessive but not quite; overall very tasty. The chicken soup a la grec (with sour cream) was good. The broccoli soup with blue cheese has a distinctive flavour and may not be to everyone’s taste, but I’m glad to have tried it. The caramel & apple cake was a delight, I genuinely wish I’d ordered more. The portions were well sized. Given how expensive everything is these days, it was good value for money. If I ever find myself feeling extremely patient, willing to put up with delays and poor communication for the sake of (belatedly) getting great food, I’ll probably order again.

The place offers very good food, at reasonable prices and with excellent services. It offers also take away services. We ordered the food and it came fast taking into account the distance between the restaurant and our house.

Un spațiu elegant, aerisit, curat și luminos; ospătari amabili, timp de servire foarte scurt, mâncare proaspătă și gustoasă, și mai ales, nu foarte sărată.

Daca inițial eram foarte mulțumit de ei, la ultimele comenzi/ultimele luni, mai ales la supe/ciorbe am fost foarte dezamăgit. Fie că luăm de pui a la grec, sau supa cu tăiței, erau efectiv sărate de nu puteai sa le mănânci. Păcat.

Am fost o singura data fizic in restaurantul mode, nu era nimeni in local iar angajați cand ne au vazut si au dat ochii peste cap, domnul care ne a luat comanda doar comenta si vorbea sec. In rest mancarea a fost buna. Pentru că la prima experiență mâncarea a fost bună doar personalul a fost “nesuferit” am ales varianta de a comanda pe glovo. Am luat un burger thailandez care avea un gust oribil, am vomitat si mi a fost rau dupa primele înghițituri, cartofi erau foarte sarati. In comanda era si o prajitura, voiam sa intreb daca au mancat din ea inainte de a trimite comanda, ca asa pare Ps. Vă rog să nu-mi dați aceleași explicații pe care le-ați dat și la comentariile mai vechi. Este penibil! Acum am vazut ca aveti doar recenzii proaste cand vine vorba de comenzii

Oribil, mancare stricata, as chema responsabilul de restaurant sa vina sa miroasa. Nu recomand sub nicio forma. Orezul sarat tare, miros ranced, ca sa nu itu dai seama ca e stricat. Voi reclama la anpc.
